About Our Butter Chicken

Our Butter Chicken — also known as Murgh Makhani — is the crown jewel of the Chilli Chutney Street Kitchen menu. Boneless chicken thigh is marinated overnight in yoghurt, ginger, garlic and our chef's own garam masala, then char-grilled in the tandoor for that distinct smoky depth before it ever meets the sauce.

The sauce is made fresh every morning with vine-ripe tomatoes, kasuri methi, cashew paste and a finish of cream and butter. Mild enough for first-timers and rich enough to win over seasoned curry lovers, it pairs beautifully with our hot-from-the-tandoor naan.

"A friend took me to this authentic Indian Cuisine restaurant for the lunch buffet. It has easy access and plenty of parking. We were greeted and seated quickly. We decided on the lunch buffet, which had many items, and I had to try them all. All was delicious, and our server was very good. I would definitely return."
