Authentic Indian Cuisine Since 2005

Founded in Brandon, Manitoba in 2005 by chef-owner Laxman Negi, Chilli Chutney built a loyal following for authentic North Indian, South Indian, and Hakka cooking. In 2023, after nearly two decades in Brandon, we opened our second home in south Winnipeg at 1663 Kenaston Blvd.

Housed in a spacious 6,200-square-foot former Swiss Chalet, our Winnipeg dining room comfortably seats over 150 guests indoors with a 30-seat outdoor patio and a private dining room for up to 22 — one of the most expansive Indian dining spaces in the city.

Owner Laxman Negi and Winnipeg manager Sarvesh Sahni — culinary classmates from New Delhi — bring 25+ years of combined experience to a menu built on Indian street food, daily buffets, and made-from-scratch paneer, naans, and chutneys.
